General Plumbing
Everyday plumbing in kitchens, bathrooms and throughout the house:
Emergency plumbing
We deal with burst pipes, overflowing cisterns and serious leaks. We isolate the water to stop the damage, then repair the cause properly.
Bathroom plumbing
We fit new toilets, basins, baths and showers, or move them to a new position, with the supply pipes and wastes to match.
Kitchen plumbing
We fit sinks, taps, waste traps and valves, whether you are replacing a sink or reworking the layout of a new kitchen.
Leak detection and pipe repairs
We track down hidden leaks under floors and inside walls, opening up as little as possible, and repair the damaged pipe.
Saniflo installation
A pumped toilet or waste system makes a WC or shower possible where gravity drainage is not, for example in a loft, basement or under the stairs.
Gas plumbing
We run new gas pipework, alter or extend existing pipework, and test the installation, all by Gas Safe registered engineers.
Pipework installation and repair
We install new copper or plastic water pipes, replace old lead or corroded pipework, and repair damaged runs.
Drainage Services
Keeping waste water flowing, from a slow sink to a collapsed underground drain:
Drainage and blocked drain services
Our complete drainage service, covering blockages, inspections, repairs and new drains for homes and businesses.
Drain unblocking and cleaning
We clear blocked sinks, toilets, baths, gullies and outside drains, then clean the pipe so the problem does not keep coming back.
CCTV drain surveys
We send a camera through your drains to find cracks, roots, displaced joints and blockages, and give you a written report. These surveys are useful before buying a house or building an extension.
Emergency drainage services
Urgent help when a manhole is overflowing, sewage is backing up or the drains have stopped completely.
Drain repairs and lining
We repair cracked, leaking or root-damaged drains, often by lining the pipe from inside so there is no need to dig up the garden or driveway.
Drain installation and replacement
We lay new drains, inspection chambers and soakaways for extensions and new builds, and replace pipes that are beyond repair.
Drain jetting
High-pressure water clears grease, scale, silt and roots from the inside of the pipe and restores its full flow.
Boiler Services
All boiler work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers:
Boiler installation
We fit a new boiler for a new heating system or a change of system type, such as moving from a system boiler with a cylinder to a combi.
Boiler repair
We find and fix faults such as low pressure, error codes, no hot water and strange noises, and tell you honestly when repair is no longer worth it.
Boiler replacement
We replace an old, unreliable or inefficient boiler with a new one, like for like, and clean and protect the system so the new boiler lasts.
Boiler servicing
A yearly safety and efficiency check that most manufacturers need to keep your warranty valid.
Landlord gas safety certificates
The yearly gas safety check that landlords must have for every gas appliance, fitting and flue in a rented home, with the record issued afterwards.
Emergency boiler services
Urgent help when the boiler breaks down and leaves you without heating or hot water.
Central Heating and Underfloor Heating
Heating systems that warm every room evenly and are easy to control:
Radiator installation and replacement
We fit new radiators and heated towel rails, sized to each room, with new valves. This includes moving radiators during a renovation.
Radiator maintenance and repair
We fix cold radiators, leaking valves and uneven heating, including bleeding and balancing the whole system.
Central heating system installation
A complete new system, with the boiler, pipework, radiators and controls designed around your home.
Central heating system maintenance
We keep pumps, valves, expansion vessels, system pressure and inhibitor levels in good order, so the system runs reliably.
Power flushing
We flush sludge and debris out of radiators and pipework, so the heating warms up faster and the boiler does not have to work so hard.
Thermostat and heating control installation
We install smart thermostats, programmers, zone controls and thermostatic radiator valves that heat rooms only when you need them.
Thermostat and control maintenance and repair
We fix thermostats, wireless receivers and programmers that have lost connection or stopped switching the heating correctly.
Underfloor heating installation
We install wet or electric underfloor heating in extensions, kitchens, bathrooms and basements, laid before the final floor goes down.
Underfloor heating maintenance and repair
We trace and fix faults with manifolds, actuators, pumps, thermostats and the pipes under the floor.
Emergency heating services
Urgent help when the whole heating system fails, including failed pumps, stuck valves and frozen condensate pipes.
Appliance Installation
Connecting appliances safely to water, waste and gas:
Washing machine installation
We plumb in your washing machine with a proper supply valve and waste connection, including new plumbing where there was none.
Dishwasher installation
We install freestanding and integrated dishwashers, connected to the water supply and waste without leaks or kinked hoses.
Gas cooker installation
Freestanding and range cookers are connected to the gas supply, with a stability bracket fitted and a safety check completed.
Gas oven installation
Built-in gas ovens are fitted into your kitchen units and connected by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Gas hob installation
New or replacement gas hobs are fitted into your worktop, connected and tested for gas tightness.
Gas Safe
When Do You Need a Gas Safe Engineer?
By law, anyone who works on gas appliances, fittings or pipework in a home or business in Great Britain must be on the Gas Safe Register. That covers installing, repairing, servicing, moving or disconnecting:
- boilers and gas fires
- gas cookers, ovens and hobs
- gas pipework and meter connections
- flues
Before any gas work starts, you can ask to see the engineer's Gas Safe ID card, which shows the types of gas work they are qualified to do. Landlords must also have every gas appliance in a rented home checked every year, and must give tenants a copy of the gas safety record.
Water and heating work has its own rules. Plumbing must meet the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations, and unvented hot water cylinders must be installed by someone qualified to fit them under the building regulations.
Emergency
What to Do in a Plumbing Emergency
If you have a burst pipe or a serious leak:
If you smell gas, do not use switches or naked flames. Open the windows, turn off the gas at the meter if you can do so safely, leave the building and call the National Gas Emergency number on 0800 111 999.
For urgent help, see our emergency plumbing service.

Pricing
How Our Plumbing Work Is Priced
Plumbing prices depend on the job, the parts needed, access and whether the work is urgent. For defined jobs such as a new tap, a boiler service or a washing machine installation, we can usually give a fixed price in advance. For fault-finding, such as a hidden leak or an intermittent boiler fault, we explain how the diagnosis is charged before we start. For larger work such as a new heating system, you receive a written, itemised quote after a survey. Whether a call-out charge applies is always confirmed before we visit, so there are no surprises.

Plumbing as Part of a Bigger Project
Plumbing is part of most building projects. When you plan a bathroom renovation, a kitchen renovation, an extension or a loft conversion, our plumbers and heating engineers work in the same programme as the builders, electricians and tilers. That way the pipework, drainage and heating are in the right place before the walls are closed up.

Can't see your question? Call or WhatsApp us — we're happy to help before you book.
How much does a plumber cost per hour in London?
It depends on the job, the time of day and how urgent it is. Many jobs are better priced as a fixed price than by the hour. We tell you the price, or how the work will be charged, before we start, and larger jobs get a written, itemised quote.
Do plumbers charge a call-out fee?
Some do and some do not, and it often depends on whether the visit is urgent or out of hours. We confirm whether any call-out charge applies before we visit.
When do you need a Gas Safe engineer?
For any work on gas appliances, pipework, meter connections or flues, including boilers, gas fires, cookers, ovens and hobs. It is illegal for anyone not on the Gas Safe Register to carry out this work.
What should I do in a plumbing emergency?
Turn off the water at the stopcock, switch off the electricity if water is near electrics and it is safe to do so, turn off the boiler, contain the water and call a plumber. If you smell gas, leave the building and call 0800 111 999.
Do you take on small plumbing jobs?
Yes. We handle small jobs such as dripping taps, running toilets and appliance installations, as well as boilers, full heating systems and drainage.
Can you install an appliance I have already bought?
Yes. We plumb in washing machines and dishwashers you have bought, and our Gas Safe registered engineers connect gas cookers, ovens and hobs.
